Folks,
I received this (twice)forwarded email from a lady in
Maryland who has a Rover surplus problem. I have
pasted her message below. If you would like to get in
touch or see her vehicles, let me know and I will
forward her email address. I will let her know that I
have at least posted the message for her. Let me know
if you are interested so I can advise the forwarders.
Thanks, Eric

Hello,

My father owns two Rover TC 2000 cars (and probably
the equivalent of a third car in parts). One car is a
1968 and the other is a 1970. He has owned them since
the 1970s and the cars have spent much of the last 20
years in his garage. Both have been driven but I doubt
that they would run now without some repairs. My
father has Alzheimer’s Disease and is in a nursing
home. I have power of attorney for him (and I also
have the titles). Although it would have been nice to
try to get the cars fixed up and to keep them in the
family, I am overwhelmed with the issues surrounding
his care and his home and belongings. Therefore, I am
hoping that you might be able to give me some advice.
I am wondering whether I might be able to sell these
cars or are they more or less junk? If I try to sell
them, is there somewhere I should advertise them where
people interested in Rovers might see them? I doubt
that running an ad in the local paper here would reach
anyone who might be interested. Thank you in advance
for any assistance you can offer.
