The Amphicar engine is Triumph Herald, either Mark I
or II. There is a plethora of information and photos
on the Web. Just type 'amphicar' into the search
engine.

Imagine going from 'driving' to 'underway' and 'MPH'
to 'knots' without getting out of your seat. How
would one decide where they prefer the 'driver's side'
(or is it 'helm') to be?

Full speed ahead.
