[ROVERNET - UK] P6b front springs on P6?

Would used P6b front coil springs be a viable possibility for 
replacement of sagging original P6 springs??  We're dismantling for 
scrap a '70 P6b and a local P6 owner is interested in the old P6b 
springs.  Original P6b springs would have been stiffer than original P6 
springs, wouldn't they?

And while we're on this thread, is the fuel tank on this P6b parts car 
the same as a '71 Series II P6 TC?
