Great website, thanks! The auto industry in India was very interesting. One 
major player was Maruti (sp), who manufactured essentially Suzuki products 
under license. Other products were based on an older Fiat design and Jeeps. 
They apparently bought the dies and jigs for discontinued older models and 
produced them. The Jeeps were the flat high top hood models at that time, 
with Peugeot diesel engines. This was in the late 80's so I sure that they 
have progressed quite a bit since then. Just think we now finally have Jeep 
Liberty's available with diesel engines (Mercedes ?).
