[ROVERNET - UK] Slow death redux

I just wanted to express my appreciation for all of the Rovernetters and
the Rovernet in general.  I received so many great replies to my 'slow
death' query, that I feel I have a real chance at solving this problem. 
Without all of the great individuals on this email list, I'd be truly lost
trying to keep the 'quixotic princess' running.
