I thank you all very much.Actually I had a garage in Cambridge Mass, and
serviced Rovers 35 years ago, while I was going to Law School, nights.I
chose to stick with British cars, not forensic Rhetoric, and have had a
restoration/parts business in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale 30 years.Generally 75%
of my business was Jaguar, but I have always been fond of Rovers, and ended
up owning a lot of them. I recently sent Rudiger the VIN numbers and fate of
a dozen or more, to add to his database. I have been compulsively hoarding
British parts for 30 years, and Finally realized I HAD to sell some of this
rare stuff.I finally bought and learned to use a computer 6 months ago. I am
doing less restoration and more parts. I put an ad on Rudiger's website, and
have been selling some rare3500S stuff to Europe, but Rovernet has no
classified section, so sadly few people are aware of the volume of 2000,
3500S, and SD1 parts I have. This includes some rareNOS, and used parts
stored in my warehouse 25 years. I do give free restoration advice, and have
done a lot with air conditioning, soundproofing, etc. By the way, I have a
P5B with no engine, but rare factory air; and could take photos if it would
help someone. Generally I would advise fitting a trunk or underdash unit, as
it is less trouble, and I have a lot of rareNOS Coolaire units, suitable for
that, if you upgrade them..The best thing is just contact me directly if you
need anything,or if I can advise you. I have so many Rover parts, I have
been sellingMagstars and Rostyles and AC evaporators on Ebay, because no
one knows I have these things. James Dean, Ft. Lauderdale.
