Hi Hank.........

Sorry i didn't know about that show at all..............I
was at the Brits in the Park in Lindsay, Ontario............I highly
recommend this show to all.............While the British cars get Victoria
Park in Lindsay, all makes of classic cars get Kent street, which is the
main drag and on which Victoria Park resides..........So for a show you get
approx 200 or more Brits in a gorgeous treed setting in the park and well
over 400 muscle and classic cars on the street...............The street is
closed the length of the town and it is open only to the parked cars and
people...........Alot of the shops are open with sidewalk sales too for
anyone wishing to shop while they drool over the cars..............A great
day for anyone ................LOL although my girlfriend was none too
pleased that Rover didn't get a prize..................We lost to, among
others, a nice Lotus Esprit which most of the younger crowd mistook for a
Lamborguini and a gorgeous Ford Consul which of course had a $22000
restoration job but was stunning...............Still a beautiful setting and
a great day and while there were a lot af stunning cars in the end i'd still
rather be driving my original 2000TC with paint chips and weathered seats
.................It still puts a smile on my face

Hank........Let me know if you and Sally or Steve and his wife are coming
up to any other events north of the border with the
Rovers...................Maybe British Car Day in September............with
approximately 1200 British cars, but entirely not enough Rovers

Happy Rovering
Bill Robertson
