[ROVERNET - UK] Dinitrol

Finnegan's Waxoyl is widely used in the UK. Winter practice over here is to
spread rock salt on roads when it snows or freezes. The net effect is to
melt the ice but produce an extremely corrosive mixture which is liberally
sprayed about, particularly on the underside of cars. Waxoyl acts as a
very effective barrier. It creeps into seams and difficult to treat areas
and any stonechips in the coat heal as it stays semi fluid. It may be
sprayed inside cavities as well as on the underside of the car and used to
treat vulnerable areas under rubber and chrome trim.

It can be thinned with white spirtit (Turpentine substitute) for spraying
and I would recommend some sort of air powered sprayer which makes life
easier.

Hope this helps
