Nick; I don't know if yours is a European car, with SU's, or like mine an
ex-fuel injection car, wth a Holley 4 barrel carb. One of my catalytic
converters finally clogged and began glowing red hot; shutting the car down.
Now I wouldn't advise doing anything illegal; but if you have no emission
testing, or seek an examption, because it's a rare car, no longer imported;
might be wise to remove and rod them out, then reinstall before your trip.
