[ROVERNET - UK] Rover event

I keep wondering about all of the Rovers in California and parts west. Is
there anyway we could hold this shindig somewhere in the middle of the
contiguous 48???? I think all of the ideas you have floated are great.
My hope is that we can make this more inclusive, rather than just a male
bonding, gear-head talking event. My wife would definitely come, but would
be bored out of her gourd if all we did was talk about the cars-------so,
if enough interest is generated by the fairer sex, I think something like a
Rover ball would be smashing----and perhaps we should require that all in
attendance dress in Viking regalia (can't you just see it, everyone
waltzing with horned helmets!!!!?)
