[ROVERNET - UK] Hydro

I used Apple Hydraulics at least ten years in my restoration shop. I told
my customers that if you buy a new cylinder it was guaranteed 90 days;
resleeved and rebuilt by Apple; guaranteed one year.Whomever had a problem
should have sent it back; they warrantee with no hassle. The only problems I
ever had ,was on a Jaguar MKII, that belonged to a cheap Doctor. I told him
all calipers and master should be done at once. No; he only wanted to
rebuild them as they leaked. Over a several year period, I sent the calipers
to Apple one at a time. The doctor's brake fluid was black from the other
seals going bad; but each time, I did as he requested, installed new pads,
and bled the fluid. Each time we pushed the pistons back; a rebuilt caliper
would leak, due to contaminated fluid. I would send the old leaking caliper
and the previously rebuilt one back to Apple. They would rebuild and
guarantee the old one , examine the leaking one, put new seals in it,
pressure test it. and if it was 2 years since their rebuild, perhaps charge
me for new seals. The problem was always the penny wise pound foolish doctor
and his contaminated fluid; not their work. An additional advantage; if
you need new seals 3 or 4 years later, just send them the caliper, they will
put new seals and pressure test it (and I think re-guarantee it-ask them)
and charge a very nominal fee. I would encourage anyone to use them; they
stand behind everything they do.. They are also cheaper than White Post, I
think.Speak to Lazar, and you may mention my name. James Dean,
