Hi Ben,

The 222 number comes from James Taylor's "Rover P6 1963 to 1977 2000, 
2200 and 3500", published in 1993. In the production data table in this 
book, there is a note that 16 cars out of the 238 chassis numbers were 
not built.  Build dates are listed as November, 1970 through August, 1971.
