Thank you for the intro, Kent.

Al, I wish to welcome you to Dallas! I hope that you
are able to bring your cars. I know that you'll soon
find that the D/FW area already has autos aplenty but
definitely not enough Rovers.

In my recollection of P6 sitings and trivia in Texas:
- There was the Rev. Hooks who dealt in used P6's for
a number of years. He had several cars in the late
eighties.

- A beautiful TC in Arden green that surprised me on
the side street where I resided in Austin, circa 1982.

- A red P6B in the parking lot of LTV in Grand
Prairie, circa 1980. I asked the lady passenger to
start the motor so I could listen to it. She happily
complied.

- A blue-label TC seen off Military Parkway in
Mesquite, also 1980.

- A 2200 in Almond, somewhere in Dallas, probably
about 1975.

- Then there are the P6s that Kent has already
informed about.

- I used to see SD1s about but it has been quite a
long time since the last one.

The local dealer for Rovers was called Precision
Motors. It was the origin of my blue-label. The
dealership later reverted to BMW. The building still
stands at Harry Hines and IH 635 but is now an x-rated
bookstore.

Keep us informed and let me know if I can help out.
