Yes but the nature of the deterioration will depend on the climate to some
extent 

Store a car next to a cactus and it won't rust much but you'd better be
prepared to replace all the rubber, vinyl and plastic after a few years.
Store the same car by a swamp cypress and you'll find a whole different set
of problems
