[ROVERNET - UK] Slightly OT but not quite

I have an article in a Wheels from 1980 about a guy in England who had a
stack of Merlins he was fitting to chassis with double Jag rear ends that
would do over 250mph...

I know, as I guess most of you chaps do that the Merlin was fitted to the 
Lancaster Bomber (makes a great noise in the Battle of Britain memorial 
flight). For a while back in the eighties(?) there was a Merlin special that

used to turn up at classic car shows in the south of England. I don't know 
who owned/converted it or what happened to it. But it was a pretty 
interesting beast.
