Hi Dermot,

I know I'm not Kent but I can tell you that the Brit's mask out a wedge 
shaped section of the lens to drive right hand drive cars on the continant. 
It reduces the light output but does mean your not blinding oncoming traffic 
(A good thing!).

If you need a spare unit for a while they may work for that, otherwise 
there's always Ebay UK.
