[ROVERNET - UK] 3500s whine

Ok, my ps pump Grinds.
I had it rebuilt, But since it is Rover and mounted Backwards, the rebuilder
put the vanes in the wrong way around.
I opened it up and turned them around, everything looked ok, but it Still
grinds.
Ideas??

I vote for the power steering pump.  Sounds like it's
cavitating.
