I've seen some odd stuff on eBay lately, but this is really blatant:
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO
PURCHASE THIS VEHICLE WITHOUT FIDDLING WITH BIDDING, PLEASE CALL 602 510
9556. THANKS FOR BIDDING AND CONGRATULATIONS IN ADVANCE TO THE LUCKY WINNER
Let's all call him.
A lot of eBay auctioners now indicate that the cars are also for sale locally
and reserve the option of ending the auction early if a buyer comes walking
up the street. Is this within the eBay rules if bids have already been
placed? I can understand ending an auction early if no bids have been placed,
but if there is active bidding going on, one would think that eBay would take
strong action to discourage ending an active auction.
Glen
