[ROVERNET - UK] Spring Compressor woes!!!

I'm desperately in need of the specific Rover spring compressor identified
in the work shop manual for my P6B. I remember that this thread (and even
some pictures) have appeared periodically on the Rovernet in the past.

I have begun rebuilding the front suspension on my '70 'Federal" P6B and
the NAPA spring compressor I purchased worked well enough to get the spring
out, but does not provide enough compression to get the spring back in
place and then refit the rest of the suspension -----unless I am doing
something terrible wrong---but I have rebushed and reinstalled the upper
link assembly which bolts to the fire wall and there is no way in hell I
can rotate the push rod arm of the upper link back inside the spring cup
because the spring in not compressed enough.

Can anyone help? I will gladly pay for shipping in both directions and pay
some sort of 'rental' fee until I return it. I am literally dead in the
water until I can get the spring compressed adequately to re-install.

Any help would be appreciated.
