Paul, et al,
I checked out the speedo on our drive down the U.S.
highway in Washington State on our way to Peter
Miller's funeral. Their speed signs are in mph while
our are in km/h. Thanks goodness for the Rover speedo
which reads in both.

Peter's funeral was held in the local Catholic church
in Arlington, Washington. There were many people
there. The Rover contingent was represented by
Malcolm (President) and Barbara, Adrian (VP) and Tracy
Freisen, Walter (Secretary) Reynolds, Phil Hodge
(Washington member), Neil Webb (U.S.A. Director),
Issaquah, Washington, Wayne Beyer (Past President)
Wash., U.S.A., Eric (Webmaster) and Linda Russell.
It was a good thing we had a good showing as Peter's
Rover interest was widely covered in the service. His
son-in-law, Paul gave a wonderful presentation and
pretended to read from "the book of Rover" after
showing the cover to the congregation. They brought
some of Peter's relics to the altar, including a Corgi
model Rover of his car version. Peter's ashes were
driven to and from the church in Peter's white 3500 S
Rover by his daughter Suzanne. Suzanne said that she
intends to keep up Peter's membership in the club and
drive her mom to club Rover events just like she did
with her dad.

We will be delighted to continue to include Peter's
family in our events. They are such nice people and
we will be able to continue the memory of Peter with
their presence.

Eric
