    Thanks for the information regarding the pinto engine. Kent, the 
transmission is a four speed Ford. John, you are correct, the engine has a 
BMW fuel injection set up. And Vern, thank for the info regarding the Valve 
stem seals etc. All this is food for thought. I have one question. What is 
the difference of a free running design and a interference design? One
