[ROVERNET - UK] Vacuum Gauge Connection

A while back I installed 3 supplementary gauges on my 1969 TC. The gauge has 
been erratic and I may replace it.  Before I do, I was wondering if there is 
a better place to tap into for the vacuum?
I am currently tapped into the hose from the intake manifold that feeds the 
brake boosters.  Maybe that is dangerous!
Here is a pic of the gauges and the car as well.  I think I may have posted
