In the Kettering world, a standard coil is a coil no matter who the
manufacturer. Most have a 1:100 voltage ratio converting the primary's
200 induced volts up to 20,000v for the dizzy --> plugs.

A "sports" coil may have a voltage ratio of 1:150 or more rarely 1:200
to give approx 30-40kV at the plugs.
Keep in mind that in racing/sports applications, consistent long term
performance and reliability are not part of the agenda.
