Hi Rev
          Before you give up completely have you checked the starter relay,
its quite a simple check if your car is same as mine. On the driver side
just above the master cylinder on the inner fender you will see a relay with
(I think) three push on connectors, if one of them has come of, is dirty etc
that might be your starting problem. Worth a try before you send it to that
big Roverland in the sky!!
