Gianluca,

This car is an NADA Federal 3500S that was shipped back to England from
the USA. All NADA Federal 3500S's had BW35 automatic transmissions. The
3500S sold on the home market is a different model that was introduced
after the NADA 3500S ceased production. The home market 3500S came with
a manual transmission, and also differed from the NADA 3500S in numerous
details such as bumpers, bonnet, and interior fitments.

So, there were two different models manufactured at different times with
different ranges if VIN numbers, and different specifications.

The discussion regarding factory options related to the Federal NADA
3500S sold in the USA and Canada. When Rover left the North American
market, there were about 150 unsold, and Rover sold these in LHD
European countries, primarily Belgium and the Netherlands (according to
reports).

Glen
