Rover P5 Saloon was introduced to the press on September the 22nd 1958

MK I  3litre   1958 - 1961  total built  15251 cars 
of wich where    4536 automatic with BW DG box  for the home maket and 1984 for export.

8731 had 4 speed manual gearbox 6 of them had overdrive .
6306 delivered to the home marked
2428  for export 
1959 also was a single prototype MK I Station Wagon.

MK IA  3litre 1961 to 1962 total production 5663

3156 automatic with  BW/DG box 
2245 for home market 
911 for export
2507 Manual available also with Laycock Overdrive
1612 for home market 
895 for export
MK IA  2.6 litre 1961 -1962 
short stroke 6 CYL mostly built for the french market , in manual form only total production 25 
MK IA 2.4 litre 1961 -1962 6cyl. short stroke built only for Austrian market for Road Tax reasons , all models had manual 4speed with overdrive. Total number of cars made 25.

Rover 3 litre MK II SALOON 1962 -1965 indroduced October 1962 at Earls Court Motor Show total production  15277
8863 automatic with  BW/DG box

Rover 2.6 litre MK II 1963 -1965   SALOON   6 cyl. short stroke with manual 4speed all cars had overdrive for export only total production  106 cars

The MK III 3litre SALOONS and COUPES 1966 - 1967 introduced late September 1965 .SALOONS  total production  3919 cars

1070 cars with manual most cars where with the option of overdrive.

MK III COUPE total production was 2501 

1961 where automatic with BW/35 
1637 for the home market

The 3.5 Rover P5B 1967 - 1973 SALOONS and COUPES introduced 18 of October 1967 at Earls Court Motor Show.Only the 1968 Models are known as 3.5 litre afterwards they where called 3 1/2 litre until the end of production 1973 .All cars came as automatics only with the BW type 35 

The SALOON total production was 11501 cars 
10341 cars where for the Home Market (including the Royale Household and The Prime Minister and British Military  )
1160 went for export ( incl. the Austrian Goverment) not to the USA .

The 1967 -1973 Coupe total production 9018 cars all automatic BW type 35 
8195 cars for the home market 
823 for export
