[ROVERNET - UK] rostyle wheels

greetings, I have had trouble with "tire men" not being able to clamp the
rim properly. I have not had trouble with the center hole being out of
center with the rest of the rim. It appears to have been caused by the "tire
man" not taking time to check the center. I would think that if the rim runs
out of round on more than one rim that would cause some questions to be
asked. But maybe that's too logical. When they take the time to center it
first, rather than spinning the clamp down and expecting all to be well in 1
second flat there will likely be an out of round condition. Like one list
member stated, if they can't get it right or refuse to get it right-"take it
to another shop". The rostyle wheels are never any more out of balance than
any other wheel. Usually, out of balance is caused by the tire not the rim.
That's enough venting for today.
Ron.
