When looking for a blanking cap(a flat radiator cap with nothing but a
rubber seal on the bottom)just ask for one for a Series I XJ6, through 1973,
or a series II Etype,68-71 6 cylinder.James Dean, Ft. Lauderdale.

Ray,

Piece of cake.
Take the bottle of a SD1.
Mount it to the innner wheel well.
Screw the pressurecap of the radiator
on the bottle and cap of the radiator
with a blankcap so the coolant can
freely flow from and to the bottle.

I send a picture to your private mailaddress.

I am considering installing an expansion tank to take up the overflow
from the radiator in my P6B. I was always a bit concerned at the loss of
coolant once the car had stopped from the overflow pipe and had heard of
others doing this mod. I would be really keen to hear from any other
'Rovernetters' who have carried out this mod. and what their experiences
were; how they did it and what they used. I am concerned at the lack of
space between the brake servo unit and the alternator. I look forward to
numerous replies.
