Now that was informative..................i've used them in my street cars 
for years and been quite happy with them.................I will state that 
when new i did achieve better gas mileage (almost 10% better on the highway 
with cruise on)  and seem to have more ponies but after a little they 
leveled off to a regular Fram filter for gas mileage.............So maybe 
they aren't worth the vastly increased cost and maybe i've been a victim of 
the ad hype..........not so sure now............LOL
