[ROVERNET - UK] Need an SD1 starter..Help?

What are the options for getting a replacement starter for a 1980 SD1 in 
the USA? 

Any ideas besides these? Would a starter motor from a 1987 Range Rover 
3.5 fit?

1.  I know Ted S. has gear-reduction motors. V8 starters are $225.

2.  Would a starter motor from a 1987 Range Rover 3.5 fit?  I think it's 
a Bosch.
