They are in the Los Angeles area - out near Pasadena.

He looked up 1969 SC2000, and found that it only takes one kind of 
starter, and, no they haven't got any...

BUT - the inner workings are all based on the most common Lucas starter 
elements.

1 - 2 day turn around for them to rebuild my own starter.

Back in the 90's - I had the generator taken out and replaced it with a 
french Motorola Alternator, and discovered I still have the voltage 
regulator in the boot - left over! I'll see if they can test it. Should 
still be good.
