I sent a longer email to your email address with some details that I gleaned
from Sutcliffe's confession statement.  It is not Rover content and pretty
graphic stuff.  However the direct answer to your question seems to be, yes,
he did drive a 3500 Rover at one point.  Here is his statement:  "At that
time September 1979 I had my Rover 3.5 FHY 400K".

Greetings!

I have been contacted by a gentleman who is involved in making a film about
Peter Sutcliffe, the infamous "Yorkshire Ripper".

There are indications that in 1981 Sutcliffe was driving what was described
as a brown Rover with a black roof, with a "K" registration plate suffix.
Does anyone out there know what type of Rover this may have been?
My guess is a P6B 3500S, but does anyone know better?
