Personally I like the look of a matching painted roof (both are that way on 
my P6B'S).  Much easier to care for and clean looking as well (IMHO). If the 
painted roof was available in your particular model then I would have 
absolutly no trouble going that route...if it was not then I would have to 
weigh out my reasons for owning the car...pure pleasure or pleasure with 
originality as well.
