I don't think so, because the switch terminals are encased in a rubber boot
and the metal tabs would not be accessible to grip or bash or even swear
at. However you may be able to put a band of non flexible tape (say 1 cm
wide) over the boot and tension the switch against the barrel by tightening/connecting
the tape to some available anchor at the front of the dash (retaining bolt
for the trim on the front of the dash. Bear in mind that the fault may also
be wear of the terminals in the switch. Good luck and lets know how you go
