It's a shame they never put the TR7 Sprint into officeil production. The 16v 
sprint engine they used to great effect in Dolomites in the BTCC series were 
fun to drive. the engine pottered around town with torque down the bottom 
end, but really lit up as the revs' rose. There's a chap in NJ who built a 
TR7 sprint and managed to keep the emissions at a legal level. BTW, the 
sprint engine was one of Spen King's jobs. Clever 8 lobe cam with to 
followers per lobe. 16 valves, single overhead cam. It looked pretty too.
