Many thanks to all who responded to my inquiry re: p5 booster i removed it at re-cleaned it and polished the inside of the vacuum chamber, re-greased and re-assembled and all is well. I suspect it was resistance in the vacuum chamber, after all. So thanks for all the advice. Peter
