[ROVERNET - UK] P5 Changing Polarity

Here's Bill's answer to keeping it positive ground:

Eric:

Leaving the car positive ground is OK but I intend to
use my P5 as a
 driver.
Charging cell phones and other devices become a
problem with positive
ground.  Also, I intend to install a modern radio,
which must be
 negative
ground.

I believe that I have the generator re-polarizing
technique somewhere
 in my
Land Rover stuff.  Still not sure what to do with the
electronic
 ignition.
I suppose going back to points would be the safest
solution.
