[ROVERNET - UK] P6B - Removing rear brakes

I DON'T UNDERSTAND ALL THE BICKERING ABOUT DOING A BRAKE JOB ON A P-6.
I HAVE 3 3500S's . DROPPING THE REAR END IS A SIMPLE  AND FAST  WAY TO DO 
THE JOB. PUT CAR  ON JACK STANDS. OPEN TRUNK (BOOT) THEN PULL UP THE BLACK 
VERTICAL MATERIAL COVERING THE FUEL TANK.THERE ARE 2 METAL PIECES THAT CAN 
BE SLID OUT TO THE REAR. PUT A JACK UNDER THE DIFF. IF JACK PAD IS TOO BIG 
TO FIT BETWEEN THE DISC, USE A PIECE OF 4 BY 4 WOOD BETWEEN THEM. THEN BRING 
JACK UP AGAINST WOOD AND RAISE DIFF ABOUT 1/2IN. WHEN YOU MOVE THOSE METAL 
STRIPS IN THE TRUNK YOU CAN SEE A LARGE NUT (3/4in ) HAVE SOMEONE HOLD THIS. 
I USE VICE GRIPS TO HOLD THEM. WITH THE REAR WHEELS REMOVED YOU CAN SEE THE 
BOLTS BELOW WHERE THE NUTS IN THE TRUNK ARE BEING HELD. MIGHT NEED SOME 
LIQUID WRENCH ON THEM. NOW LOWER THE DIFF. I HAVE DONE THIS MANY TIMES. MY 
71 HAS 160,000mi ON IT.
    BY THE WAY DONT PUT THE JACK UNDER THE D TUBE. PUT IT IN FROM THE SIDE. 
AFTER THE FIRST TIME I DID THIS I PUT A STEEL ROD DOWN THRU ONE OF THE HOLES 
WHERE ONE OF THE BOLTS WERE REMOVED. IT MAKES A GOOD GUIDE WHEN REPLACING 
THE REAR END. THERE IS A FLEX PIPE ON TOP OF DIFF HOUSING THAT CARRIES FLUID 
FROM PASSENGER SIDE TO DRIVER SIDE. IT SELDOM LAST FOR MORE THAN 50,000mi. 
USE GREASE REMOVER TO CLEAN ALL THE GUNK FROM THE DIFF AND  BRAKE ASSEMBLYS. 
CAREFUL WITH THE SMALL PIECES LIKE THE ANTI RATTLE SPRINGS AND CLAMPS.
