Sometimes people use Vice-Grips to squeeze the rubber
brake hose on the front wheels when they disconnect
the front calipers for servicing. The internal of the
rubber hose may crush enough for a slow passage of
brake fluid. It's a tough call to replace them if
they look OK on the outside. However, since brakes
can be the difference between life and death, the cost
of new rubber brake hoses are reasonable.

Perhaps others might discuss their experiences with
slow fluid flow.
