It's a simple supply and demand thing, I think.
Pre-eBay, they were hard to find and only turned up rarely.  Now that we can
see what is available throughout the world and postage is reliable - well
they are popping up all the time.
Ferinstance I bought some lovely 30s manuals and a pristine 30s sales
catalogue recently and they were nothing like it cost me for the Cyclops
manual 12 years ago ... of course they are now cheap as chips.
