On your camshaft and lifter questions for your '71 3500S:  you may wish
to contact Dan LaGrou at D&D Fabrications.  810-798-2491.  D&D
specializes in the Buick 215/Rover V8 nearly exclusively.  He offers a
series of Crower cams from mild to fairly wild and can definitely offer
advice.  D&D is located in Almont, Michigan.
