R: [ROVERNET - UK] Outer sills - Black but which black?

Ok....I cant stand it any longer. I have to throw my 2
cents worth in this mix.

I HATE the black paint on the lower siles. It looks so
like you are covering up what you will know eventually
will happen, it will rot off.

I painted mine like the rest of the car. I believe
that it gives the car a better line to look and looks
clean and finished. And, if you paint yours satin,
then dont get wax on there as it will be the devil to
get off.

Ok, for better news, I have my big Christmas show this
year and guess what? I have a 2000TC lit up with
lights as part of my show.
If you will go to www.ChristmasSheuring.com you will
find the car in the 2006 photo album. And for those
who are....um...wondering if the car runs, yes it
does. This is the car I bought from George Phelps and
is a 70 model 2000TC.

Well. guess thats it for now, we are having some heavy
weather down here and we are trying to stay warm and
try.

Cheers
